By default the desktop app keeps manuscripts, audio, and voice samples on your Mac. No account is required to use the five free evaluation generations.
Signing in uses Clerk. Clerk processes your account email, session, and billing details for the Pro subscription. The license API stores your Clerk user id, email, subscription entitlement status, and a short-lived desktop activation token. It does not receive your manuscript or audio.
Optional cloud LLM (OmniRoute) sends prompt text you choose to process when local llama.cpp is unavailable. You can leave cloud LLM unconfigured.
